The Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced on May 20 that Aubane Statiotis of Eckerd women’s golf has been named to the Division II All-Freshman Team for the 2025-26 season.
Statiotis is one of five golfers in Division II to receive this recognition. She was also selected for the Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference and finished her first year with a seventh-place result at the NCAA South Regional in Cleveland, Tennessee earlier this month. Her season concluded with a national ranking in the top 30 by Clippd and a scoring average of 73.8.
Eckerd College Tritons participate in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports including basketball, golf, sailing, soccer, tennis, volleyball, softball, rowing and cross country as part of the Sunshine State Conference, according to the official website. The college promotes cultural values by encouraging mental, physical and spiritual growth through discipline, fellowship and competition in its athletics program.
The athletic facilities at Eckerd include the McArthur Center with a primary training room and the Turley Complex with a satellite training room. The college recognizes student-athletes through awards such as the Triton Award for excellence in academics, athletics and leadership.
