On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Northeast High School standout Cayden Evans’ current college team, the Columbus State Cougars, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Barry Buccaneers.

The game took place at Feinbloom Field. This was their third matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field against Valdosta State Blazers.
