City announces holiday closures and collection changes for Thanksgiving

Certain city facilities and services will not operate on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, 2024, due to Thanksgiving. Adjustments have been made for residential trash and recycling collection. Thursday’s scheduled collections will take place on Wednesday instead. Collections on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday will continue as usual.

Several brush and debris drop-off sites will also be closed on Thursday but will resume normal operations from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday at the following locations:

– Raytheon DMS Site at 1953 72nd St. N.
– 1000 62nd Ave. NE.
– 7750 26th Ave. N.
– 2500 26th Ave. S.
– 4015 Dr. Martin Luther King St. S.
– 2453 20th Ave. N.

Additionally, the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) located at the Enoch Davis Center will remain closed on both Thursday and Friday but is set to reopen on Saturday, November 30.
