Last night, the City of St. Petersburg made the decision to shut off potable water due to significant water main breaks caused by Hurricane Milton. Repair crews are working on the situation, and potable water service has been restored, although pressure may be low. Once the system is fully pressurized, normal water service should resume.
A citywide boil water notice has been issued for all water customers in St. Petersburg, Gulfport, South Pasadena, and Lealman. The public will be informed when this notice is lifted.
