Florida Orthopaedic Institute announced on June 1 a partnership with HURT!, a digital health platform designed to provide 24/7 orthopedic injury guidance and support, allowing patients to determine next steps for musculoskeletal concerns at any time.

Through this collaboration, Florida Orthopaedic Institute patients and community members can now access on-demand orthopedic information via the HURT app. The platform enables users to receive immediate guidance on injuries and symptoms, better understand whether they should seek urgent, scheduled, or self-directed care, and access trusted orthopedic support outside of traditional clinic hours.

Dr. Paul Pagano said, “HURT allows us to support patients beyond our physical locations and office hours. By offering round-the-clock digital guidance grounded in orthopedic expertise, we’re making it easier for people to understand their injuries and navigate care with confidence.”

The partnership complements Florida Orthopaedic Institute’s existing network of clinics and walk-in services across the Tampa Bay region. Patients can also visit the institute’s Orthopedic Urgent Care at its St. Petersburg 5th Street campus for same-day walk-in care; location details are available through the organization’s website.

Founded in 1989, Florida Orthopaedic Institute is described as Florida’s largest physician-led orthopedic group. It operates 21 clinic locations and five urgent care centers throughout Tampa Bay as well as extending into Lakeland, Ocala, and Gainesville.

The St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce serves as a primary organization supporting business success in the region by fostering economic growth, hosting events, and providing resources such as leadership training and advocacy initiatives that benefit local enterprises while promoting community vitality across St. Petersburg, according to the official website.
