Hannah Taylor of Eckerd College softball was named a 2026 All-American for the second time, earning Third Team recognition from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association on May 27.
Taylor recently received her second consecutive National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American accolade. As a First Team All-Sunshine State Conference selection, she completed her career with the Tritons by starting all 46 games in 2026 and playing multiple positions including catcher, first base, and shortstop. She earned First Team All-Conference and All-Region honors.
Taylor ranked second on the team with a .425 batting average and set single-season school records with 21 doubles and 66 runs batted in. She also hit 12 home runs during the season. Taylor finished among the top five in seven statistical categories within the Sunshine State Conference, leading the league in both RBI and doubles. She was recognized as SSC Player of the Week four times this season and earned All-Region honors from both NFCA and D2CCA.
Eckerd College Tritons participates in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports including basketball, golf, sailing, soccer, tennis, volleyball, softball, rowing and cross country as part of the Sunshine State Conference, according to the official website.
