On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Lakewood High School standout Torry Jones’ current college team, the Edward Waters Tigers, won 15-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Rust Bearcats.
The game took place at Wesley Barrow Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bearcats this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 5 p.m. at Varnedoe Stadium against Thomas Night Hawks.
