Nathalia Mallo won her second race of the season on March 28, leading the Eckerd women’s track team at the Shark Invitational in Miramar, Florida.
Mallo finished first in the 1500-meter race with a time of 4:53.48. She also placed second in the 800-meter event, setting a personal record with a mark of 2:16.60, just .14 seconds behind the winner. In addition to Mallo’s performance, Kailani Casazza finished seventh overall in the 800 meters with a time of 2:23.90, and Brooke Sawyer completed that event in 2:52.04. Abigail Davidson ran the 1500 meters in 6:22.22, while Casazza achieved a personal best by nearly two seconds in the 400 meters with a time of 1:02.14.
