Mayor Ken Welch, along with St. Petersburg City Council Chair Deborah Figgs-Sanders, members of St. Pete City Council, Tampa Bay Ray Representatives, and Fans, will be participating in a Flag Raising ceremony to Celebrate Tampa Bay Rays Opening Day on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 9:45 a.m. The event will take place at St. Pete City Hall located at 175 5th St. N.

Welch and Figgs-Sanders, along with other city officials and fans, are excited to come together for this significant occasion. As Welch expressed, “Join us as we ‘Rays Up the Flag’ at St. Pete City Hall.” This celebration aims to showcase the unity and unwavering support for the Tampa Bay Rays as they kick off the 2024 Season.
