Mayor Kenneth T. Welch is set to address the public at a press conference scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, at the Northeast Water Reclamation Facility located at 1160 62nd Ave. NE. The event will commence at 11 a.m., with media representatives expected to arrive by 10:30 a.m.

The City of St. Petersburg has made provisions for live streaming the press conference on its official Facebook channel, accessible at www.facebook.com/StPeteFL.

In addition to Mayor Welch, City Council Chair Copley Gerdes and Amber Boulding, St. Pete Fire Rescue Emergency Management Manager, will deliver remarks during the event.

Media personnel attending are advised to enter through the second entrance on 62nd Ave. NE, where parking will be available near the elevation platform. Following the press conference, there will be an opportunity for a guided tour of the facility; however, due to space constraints, only two representatives per media outlet can participate in these tours.
