On Monday, July 8, and Tuesday, July 9, the northbound I-275 entrance ramp from 54th Avenue South will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.

During these closures, motorists needing to access northbound I-275 will need to proceed north onto US 19 (34th Street South), turn east onto 22nd Avenue South, and enter the interstate using the northbound I-275 entrance ramp. Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should expect delays and congestion during these detours.

These temporary ramp closures are necessary for crews to replace concrete pavement slabs as part of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) I-275 concrete pavement repair project from 54th Avenue South to 5th Avenue South in Pinellas County. Construction activities are expected to finish in 2026.

More information on this project can be found here.
