On Friday, Jan. 31, former Lakewood High School standout Torry Jones’ current college team, the Edward Waters Tigers, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southern-New Orleans Knights.

The game took place at Wesley Barrow Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Knights this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Wesley Barrow Stadium against Dillard Bleu Devils.
