PGA TOUR Superstore announced on May 20 that it will open a new store in St. Petersburg on June 13 at the Crosswinds Shopping Center, located at 2020 66th Street.
The upcoming store aims to serve the area’s active golf community by offering equipment, apparel, and interactive experiences for players of all skill levels. The company is holding a hiring event on April 22 and 23 at the Fairfield Inn & Marriott St. Petersburg North to fill positions such as instructors, club fitters, repair specialists, retail sales staff, and logistics roles.
Troy Rice, CEO of PGA TOUR Superstore, said: “At our new PGA TOUR Superstore St. Petersburg and all of our locations, the difference is our team of knowledgeable professionals providing an unmatched in-store experience. From lessons and club fittings to repairs and state-of-the-art simulators, we offer golfers access to top-tier expertise, equipment and apparel with the goal of helping golfers of all skill levels improve their game and enjoy the sport even more.”
The store will occupy a former Bealls space spanning about 29,600 square feet. It will feature interactive simulators for practice sessions as well as lessons from certified teaching professionals. Comprehensive club fitting and repair services will also be available onsite.
Golfers can expect a broad selection of high-performance apparel designed for sun protection and resort-style living alongside trusted golf brands. The retailer says its products are suitable both for play on local courses—such as Mangrove Bay or Cypress Links—and daily life in downtown St. Petersburg.
The St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce serves as a primary organization supporting business success across the region through events, advocacy efforts, membership benefits including leadership training programs and community initiatives that promote economic growth and vitality throughout St. Petersburg according to the official website.
PGA TOUR Superstore operates under Golf & Tennis Pro Shop Inc., which is part of AMB Sports + Entertainment based in metro-Atlanta.
