Runners gathered in Tampa on Sunday to participate in the Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic half-marathon. The event attracted participants from across the area, with the race starting early in the morning.

The start of the race saw a large group of runners setting off through city streets. Spectators lined parts of the route to watch and cheer for friends and family members competing.

This annual event is a popular fixture in Tampa’s sports calendar, drawing both serious athletes and recreational runners each year.
