Eckerd College announced on May 21 that Reggie Fear has been named a First Team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America following the conclusion of the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship Stroke Play.
This recognition places Fear among only eight golfers in Division II to earn this distinction for the 2026 season. The award highlights his strong performance throughout the year, including being a First Team All-Sunshine State Conference and PING All-Region selection, as well as finishing as conference runner-up. He ended the season ranked No. 9 nationally and qualified for his second consecutive NCAA regional appearance.
Fear achieved a scoring average of 69.9 during regular season play, recorded one win, five top-three finishes, and received two Sunshine State Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week awards. He also reached No. 1 in national rankings at one point by Clippd. This marks his second straight appearance on an All-SSC team, improving from last year’s Second Team honor, and he is Eckerd’s first First Team selection since the 2004-05 season. Last year, he was recognized on the GCAA All-Freshman Team.
Eckerd College Tritons participates in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports including basketball, golf, sailing, soccer, tennis, volleyball, softball, rowing and cross country as part of the Sunshine State Conference,according to the official website.
