Ethan Sutton has recorded nine saves this year and is on the NCBWA Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List; his total ties him for the American Conference lead.
Tulane enters this matchup following four consecutive losses, including being swept by Charlotte and dropping a midweek contest to LSU. The last time South Florida played Tulane was last season when they swept them at home; however, South Florida has not won a road series against Tulane since March of 2001. Historically, Tulane leads the all-time series between these programs with a record of 43-33.
