St. Petersburg, FL (April 26, 2024) – From April 28 to May 4, the City of St. Petersburg and St. Pete Greenhouse will be celebrating National Small Business Week with events, resources, and more to help local businesses start, grow, and thrive in St. city.

“We are excited to offer curated options for capacity building and networking to support small businesses at every stage of development during Small Business Week,” said Tracey Smith, The Greenhouse’s Small Business Liaison Manager.

“The doors of The Greenhouse swing open for our first annual and signature Greenhouse Open House to provide a new opportunity for intentional engagement for all to celebrate entrepreneurship in St. Pete while connecting business owners to valuable resources and each other. Our talented team of Greenhouse Navigators will be on hand, as well as a line-up of our community’s key business resources,” Tracey Smith added.

The Greenhouse Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Greenhouse located at 440 2nd Ave. N. The event will be followed by an Access to Capital Evening Workshop on the same day from 6 to 7 p.m., both in-person and online.

Throughout the week, there will be various activities including a workshop on making better business decisions with analytics on May 1, a business startup workshop on May 2, and a Food Truck Friday event on May 3 at Williams Park.

In addition to these events, pop-up displays will be set up at multiple locations in St. Pete to provide essential information and resources to the community during Small Business Week.

“The public is invited to stop by one of the convenient display locations to explore the array of services offered by The Greenhouse,” as mentioned in the announcement.

The Greenhouse is known as St. Pete’s front door to business growth, providing business owners and entrepreneurs with the education, resources, and assistance necessary to thrive in the local economy. Comprised of an expert team from the City of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, along with a wide network of partners, The Greenhouse is committed to the economic growth and development of St. Pete’s economy.
