The City of St. Petersburg has announced changes to the operational hours for Comfort Stations, a FEMA registration assistance point, and the St. Petersburg Municipal Beach at Treasure Island as part of ongoing recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene.

A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) registration assistance point will be available starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Enoch D Davis Center located at 1111 18th Ave. S. It will operate daily until 7 p.m., with staff on hand to assist residents in applying for FEMA aid.

Residents seeking updates on their applications are advised to visit the Disaster Recovery Center or access more information online at disaster.pinellas.gov. FEMA assistance can also be requested through www.DisasterAssistance.gov, via the FEMA app, or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).

As of today, Oct. 4, Comfort Stations situated at Azalea Recreation Center, Enoch D. Davis Center, Robert Recreation Center, and USF St. Pete have ceased operations with city personnel but remain open during regular business hours for public use.

Local libraries in St. Pete offer alternative locations for residents to cool off, charge devices, or access the internet:
