The City of St. Petersburg, along with the Office of Supplier Diversity, is organizing the St. Pete Supplier Summit to be held on May 13 and 14. This two-day event is aimed at connecting local businesses with opportunities in purchasing and contracting within the City and its partner organizations. It combines elements from Build St. Pete and Supplier Diversity Day to support small, minority-owned, and local businesses.

The event will begin with the Supplier Success Symposium on Tuesday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Coliseum. This symposium will focus on education, training, and business development. Participants will gain insights from a keynote speaker and engage in seminars and panel discussions. These activities are designed to guide businesses in navigating the procurement process and preparing for contract opportunities.

On Wednesday, May 14, the Supplier Connection Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Al Lang Stadium. The expo centers on direct engagement and networking. Businesses will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from City departments, major institutions, and organizations seeking suppliers. This presents a platform for businesses to connect with potential clients, access resources, and explore procurement opportunities.
