Largo High School student Alina Cao from Clearwater attended the St. Petersburg International Folk Fair on Friday at England Brothers Park in Pinellas Park. She stopped by the head of a traditional Chinese dragon, which is often used in cultural celebrations. The long fabric figure is a key element in dragon dances and represents strength, prosperity, and good fortune.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the International Folk Fair. The event brings together people from different backgrounds to share and celebrate various cultures through displays, performances, and activities.
