St. Petersburg Mayor Kenneth T. Welch, along with his Economic Development team, is gearing up to host the 2024 State of the Economy on Wednesday, March 27. The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the ARK Innovation Center on 1101 4th St. S.

Joining Mayor Welch at the event will be guest speakers Cathie Wood, CEO of Ark Invest, and Matt Silverman, Co-President of the Tampa Bay Rays.

“Smart growth is possible when workforce readiness and city development are in alignment,” stated Mayor Welch. “We look forward to sharing data points at our State of the Economy that move St. Pete forward as a city of innovation and inclusive progress.”

To attend the event, registration is mandatory due to limited seating. Interested individuals can register at stpete.org/SOTE2024. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be livestreamed on the City of St. Petersburg’s Facebook Page at facebook.com/StPeteFL.

Limited parking is available at the ARK Innovation Center; alternatively, attendees can park at Lots 11 or 11B at USF St. Petersburg, located at the intersection of 11th Ave. S. and 3rd St.

The 2024 State of the Economy event promises to provide valuable insights into the city’s economic landscape and its future trajectory under the leadership of Mayor Kenneth T. Welch.
