St. Petersburg plans public hearings for fiscal year 2025 budget

The City of St. Petersburg is set to conduct two public hearings this month regarding the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget. The hearings are open for community members to attend in person or watch live online.

On Thursday, September 12, at 6 p.m., the City Council will adopt the tentative FY25 City Budget and millage rate. A subsequent meeting on Thursday, September 26, at 6 p.m. will focus on adopting the final FY25 Budget and millage rate, along with approving the Capital Improvements Plan.

Both sessions will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall located at 175 5th St. N. The meetings can also be viewed live via stpete.org/TV and digital cable channels Frontier (20), Spectrum (641), and WOW! Cable (15).

The new fiscal year budget is scheduled to commence on October 1, 2024. Further details about the city budget and its adoption process are available on stpete.org/budget.
