St. Petersburg Mayor Kenneth T. Welch is set to launch the 2025 City Hall on Tour series with a community event scheduled for Wednesday, March 26. The event will take place at The Coliseum located at 535 4th Ave N from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It is designed as an open-house-style gathering that is family-friendly, free of charge, and open to all residents. Attendees can expect light refreshments.

The highlight of this first tour stop will be the Sunrise St. Pete initiative, which has recently been introduced by the city. This initiative is supported by $160 million in Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery funds provided by HUD. Residents are encouraged to learn about this significant project and offer their input on the allocation of funds for housing, infrastructure, and recovery efforts.

Residents have two options to provide feedback on fund usage: they can attend the City Hall on Tour event and visit the Sunrise St. Pete Community Pop UP or fill out an online survey available at www.sunrisestpete.org.

Mayor Welch and his leadership team conduct these tours in various neighborhoods to connect with residents about their needs, concerns, and suggestions. The events offer a platform for attendees to ask questions and interact directly with city staff members including administrators, law enforcement leaders, and department directors.

Media personnel interested in interviews with Mayor Welch can do so at 5 p.m., but are requested to RSVP via email at communications@stpete.org.
