Diocese Of St. Petersburg issued the following announcement on Dec. 16.
“Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord!” — One of the best ways to prepare for the coming of Christ this Advent season is through the sacrament of Reconciliation. It’s an opportunity to give Jesus the gift of your heart this Christmas! To find regularly scheduled confession times at a Catholic church near you visit: www.dosp.org/parishes/ or check out your parish website for any communal penance services offered.
If you are currently unable to attend, pray an act of contrition out of love for God, and make a firm commitment to go to confession when that becomes possible for you.
