April: Home prices in St Petersburg increased

The median sale price of a home sold in April in St Petersburg rose by $91,000 while total sales decreased by 78.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 35 homes sold, with a median sale price of $350,000 - a 35.1 percent increase over the $259,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 163 homes sold in St Petersburg in April 2021.

The median sales tax in St Petersburg for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,746, approximately 0.5 percent of the median home sale price for April.
