On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Northeast High School standout Cayden Evans’ current college team, the Columbus State Cougars, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the West Alabama Tigers.

The game took place at Tartt Field. This was their third matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at Zell B. Miller Field against Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
