On Friday, Feb. 21, former Lakewood High School standout Torry Jones’ current college team, the Edward Waters Tigers, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Kentucky State Thorobreds.

The game took place at James P. Small Memorial Park. This was their second matchup against the Thorobreds this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at James P. Small Memorial Park against Kentucky State Thorobreds.
