On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Northeast High School standout Amai Rivera-Martinez’s current college team, the Saint Leo Lions, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Valdosta State Blazers.

The game took place at Thomas B. Southard Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Blazers this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. at Thomas B. Southard Stadium against Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish.
