There were two gas stations in cities across Pinellas County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $3.68 per gallon in the week ending May 2, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Reported prices for regular gas in Pinellas County averaged $4.11 per gallon.

GasBuddy reports show that regular gas was available at 236 of the 316 reported gas stations in Pinellas County.

The average reported price for a gallon of regular gas in Florida was $4.12, up from the previous week.

According to an analysis by Time Magazine, fuel prices remain elevated and volatile as global oil markets react to geopolitical developments tied to the U.S. conflict with Iran, with supply concerns focused on potential disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
