St. Petersburg Catholic High School issued the following announcement on Jan. 29.
This video makes the value of Catholic education pretty clear, especially the unique bond that students share with their teachers and coaches at St. Petersburg Catholic High School. We are more than a school; we are family. And, our family needs support.
Due to the declining number of religious sisters and brothers in the U.S., most Catholic schools are run and sustained by lay Catholics, causing tuition to sky-rocket in recent decades. As a result, annual fundraising has become a crucial part of building healthy Catholic schools. These dollars help our school pay teachers competitive salaries, which keeps class sizes small. Because of this, we can ensure each of our students receive individualized care and attention, just like Kate and Issac have so clearly recieved. In other words, we rely on YOU. Our students rely on YOU.
If each of our Facebook followers gave a gift of $25, it would support the cost of tuition for 6 students.
….. a gift of $50, it would support the cost of tuition for 13 students.
…..a gift of $75, it would support the cost of tuition for 19 students.
…..a gift of $100, it would support the cost of tuition for 26 students.
The future of Catholic education relies on us all working together to support it.
