Bay Vista Fundamental Elementary issued the following announcement on Oct. 20.

*PTA UPDATE*

Good evening Bay Vista families, this is PTA President Heather Duncan calling with your Wednesday PTA update:

The cooler weather has us dreaming of Treat Trail, Fall Festival, and long-sleeved spirit gear! The next month and a half is PACKED with exciting activities and opportunities to come together with our fellow jaguars!

TREAT TRAIL

Our Treat Trail is just over a week away, and we are busy putting the final touches on an evening that is sure to be spooktacular! Please join us on Friday, October 29th from 6:30pm-8:30 pm for music, trick-or-treating, crafts, a chalk art contest, and lots of FUN! We will have a local food truck on site for families to purchase dinner, should they choose to do so.

We are still accepting candy donations for the event. Donations can be dropped off with your child in the carline, or brought to the front office. We thank you in advance for your donations!

Thank you to everyone who signed up to host a table at the Treat Trail, all of our tables are now full! We can't wait to see all of the creative decorations that our families put together!

NOVEMBER TEACHER LUNCHEON

We are busy planning our next Teacher Luncheon, which will be held on November 4th, and will feature an Italian theme! We are seeking donations from our wonderful Bay Vista families to help us provide our teachers and staff with a wonderful Italian Feast! This is our last luncheon until February 2022, so let’s make it fantastic!

We are still asking that food items be brought in containers that do NOT need to be returned. You can drop off all items in the carline when you drop off your child(ren) on the morning of November 4th.

GENERAL UPDATES

The Opt-Out Fundraiser will be kicking off soon and we have some AMAZING incentives in store for you! Homework passes, pop-its, fidget spinners, and even a glow dance party! We will also have prizes for the classrooms who bring in the highest amount of donations, as well as a special school-wide prize if we reach our goal!!! We will share ALL the details next week!!

We had a wonderful turn out at the Jaguar Jump Spirit Night at SkyZone on October 7th! We ended up raising $818.25 for Bay Vista, so a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out! We hope to host another event at SkyZone in the Spring!
