City Of Gulfport issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.
Skate Park Closing for Maintenance
The City of Gulfport Parks Department will begin maintenance on the skate park starting Monday, November 28, 2022 which is located behind the Gulfport Recreation Center at 5730 Shore Blvd. S. The purpose of the maintenance is to fill-in cracks and seal the surface. At this time we are uncertain how long the maintenance will take, but for safety reasons the skate park will be closed for the entire duration of the project.
