Bear Creek Elementary School issued the following announcement on Feb 05.
Bear Creek 4th and 5th graders, along with hundreds of elementary school students gathered at my alma mater, the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, to hone their leadership and advocacy skills. Pinellas County Schools did an outstanding job of organizing the new Student Leadership Summit. Activities included a Lego Competition (I’m sure my students wanted me to leave at this point), a scavenger hunt and development of a plan to share what they learned with our school community.
