City of St. Petersburg Offers Funding for Social Service Agencies Providing Homelessness Assistance

St. Petersburg, FL, May 2, 2024 - The City of St. Petersburg announced that it will be providing funding opportunities for social service agencies involved in homelessness assistance. Starting Friday, May 3, eligible agencies can apply for the Social Action Funding Grants, with applications being accepted until Thursday, June 20.

According to St. Petersburg officials, agencies can receive up to $100,000 in funding from the city, with additional applications permitted for programs offering critical services related to homelessness prevention and support. The City of St. Petersburg is making up to $700,000 available for these grants.

To assist interested applicants, a Bidders/Technical Assistance Workshop will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, May 14, at 10:30 a.m. Interested parties can access the Zoom details and application guidelines on the city's website at stpete.org/socialactionfunding. Attendees are encouraged to have the application and guidelines ready during the workshop.
