A Committee of the Whole (COW) meeting to focus on the Historic Gas Plant Development is scheduled by the St. Petersburg City Council

On May 7, 2024, the St. Petersburg City Council announced that a Committee of the Whole (COW) meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 9. The meeting will focus on discussing the Historic Gas Plant Development agreement. The details of the meeting are as follows:

- **WHEN:** Thursday, May 9 at 9 a.m.

- **WHERE:** St. Petersburg City Hall Room 100

- **WHO:** St. Petersburg City Council, Mayor Kenneth T. Welch, Hines, and Tampa Bay Rays Representatives

The COW meeting is open to the public, but there will be no opportunities for public comments. Seating in Room 100 will be limited; overflow seating for the public will be available in the City Council Chambers. To accommodate the limited seating, the public is encouraged to watch the meeting live on SPTV at www.stpete.org/tv or on channels 641 (Spectrum), 15 (Wow), and 20 (Frontier).

The Committee of the Whole (COW) meetings, led by the City Council Chair, are responsible for discussing various issues relevant to the City. The Committee includes all City Council members. Any actions taken during a COW meeting are not considered official City Council actions unless and until approved at a regular meeting.
