June 12, 2024 - Juneteenth, officially Juneteenth National Independence Day, is a federal holiday celebrated annually on June 19 to commemorate the ending of slavery in the U.S. The St. Petersburg community will observe this significant day with various local events celebrating freedom, culture, and community while recognizing the importance of Juneteenth.
