Ring in the New Year in downtown St. Petersburg with a variety of events and transportation options. The annual NYE at the Pier celebration is set to begin at 8 p.m., offering free entry to the public. The event will feature DJs, food vendors, games, champagne bars, and more. Attendees are advised to arrive early due to limited parking at the Pier. More details can be found at nyestpete.com.

The City of St. Petersburg will host its annual New Year’s Eve fireworks show starting at midnight on January 1, weather permitting. The display will be visible from the St. Pete Pier and along the downtown waterfront parks and is expected to last approximately 20 minutes.

For those seeking convenient transportation, the SunRunner Bus Rapid Transit service offers rides from St. Pete Beach to downtown every 15 minutes until 1 a.m. All PSTA bus routes, including SunRunner and routes 4, 18, 34, and 52, will provide free service on New Year's Eve.

Additional transportation is available via the St. Petersburg Trolley/Downtown Looper for easy access around downtown's popular destinations such as the Pier.

Parking options include city garages, lots, and metered spaces throughout downtown. The South Core Parking Garage at 101 1st Ave S offers significant capacity near event locations.

Further information about these events and services can be found on their respective websites: stpete.org/Events for event details; psta.net/SunRunner for transit schedules; and stpete.org/Parking for parking options.
