On December 21, 2024, an incident involving the discharge of approximately 1,500 gallons of wastewater occurred at the 100 block of Pasadena Ave. S. The release was attributed to construction work impacting the force main in the area.

Out of the total discharge, about 400 gallons were successfully contained onsite and subsequently vacuumed. However, the remaining 1,100 gallons flowed into a nearby stormwater catch basin and reached surface water.

Efforts have been made to clean and sanitize the affected site. Additionally, repairs are planned to address the issue.
