St. Petersburg announces facility closures for New Year's Day

Certain facilities and services in the City of St. Petersburg will be closed on January 1, 2025, in observance of New Year's Day. However, residential trash and recycling collection will proceed as usual.

The City's Brush Sites will not operate on January 1 but will resume normal hours from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on January 2. The locations affected include:

- 1000 62nd Ave. NE

- 7750 26th Ave. N

- 2500 26th Ave. S

- 4015 Dr. Martin Luther King St. S

- 2453 20th Ave. N

Additionally, the Disaster Recovery Center at the Enoch D. Davis Center will close on December 31 and January 1, reopening on January 2.
