The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is set to take place from February 28 to March 2, 2025. The event promises a series of activities for both seasoned IndyCar fans and newcomers seeking an exciting experience.

Key events include the Grand Prix Flag Raising at City Hall on February 27 at 10 a.m., followed by the INDYCAR Party in the Park at North Straub Park from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A 5K Run & Walk will also occur on the same day at North Straub Park starting at 5 p.m.

Racing begins on February 28 and continues through March 2. Notably, there will be no Saturday Morning Market on March 1; it will resume on March 8.

Parking arrangements are available at Tropicana Field Rays Lot 6 & 7 with a fee of $30, payable by credit card only. Accessible parking is provided in various locations including SouthCore and USF St. Pete garages, with a recommended fee of $25 for Friday through Sunday.

Motorcycle parking is offered along the west side of 1st Street S between Central Avenue and costs $10 per day.

Transportation options include the SunRunner service, which serves as the official mode of transportation for the event, offering direct access to Gate 1 and nearby stops for Gate 5. A group pass can be purchased using promo code "CREW" via the Flamingo Fares app until March 3.

A free shuttle service operates from Tropicana Field Parking with designated pick-up and drop-off points near Gate 5 during specified hours over the weekend.

The Downtown Looper Bus Service offers special trolley services throughout the Grand Prix weekend, while Cross Bay Ferry services remain operational but without parking availability at Port St. Pete.

Bike Share and E-Scooters are accessible throughout downtown St. Petersburg, with Lime Bike Share hubs and Veo E-Scooter corrals conveniently located near major streets.

Road closures during race weekend include sections of avenues south of Central Avenue SE and Bayshore Drive south of Demens Landing access points.

Attendees are encouraged to explore local businesses such as restaurants, cafés, boutiques, and galleries that contribute to St. Pete's vibrant economy while enjoying race festivities downtown.
