Pinellas County Schools did an outstanding job of organizing the new Student Leadership Summit. Activities included a Lego Competition (I’m sure my students wanted me to leave at this point), a scavenger hunt and development of a plan to share what they learned with our school community.

It was a very long day, and the students did a good job of representing our school.

ADMIRAL FARRAGUT ACADEMY: Snow Day: Escape Being Stranded at School

The title of the escape room was “Snow Day: Escape Being Stranded at School.” Students were paired into groups and had 45 minutes to unlock 7 locks with figurative language clues given for each lock.

ADMIRAL FARRAGUT ACADEMY: As we are halfway through our academic year, it is a great time for our first graders at Admiral Farragut Academy to welcome the new year by setting goals for themselves.

Students also demonstrate a growth mindset and positive disposition by encouraging themselves to be successful with their individual goal-setting
