City Of Treasure Island issued the following announcement on Jan. 19.
Attention drivers: Early Friday morning, Jan. 20, at 2 a.m. city crews will be adding RPM's and painting the curve of 108th Avenue near the police and fire complex. Crews will be closing the eastbound lane of 108th from the 4-way stop next to the police/fire departments to the north side of the R Bar. The roadway is expected to reopen around 6 a.m.
Traffic coming down 108th Avenue from Gulf Blvd. will be detoured south down 1st Street E. to 107th Avenue. Westbound traffic on 108th will not be affected.
