The City of St. Petersburg has announced a community pop-up event to celebrate 727 Day. Scheduled for Friday, July 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the event will take place on the steps of St. Pete City Hall.
The celebration aims to bring residents together in anticipation of 727 Day on Saturday, July 27. "This is your chance to show your St. Pete pride and get in the festive spirit!" reads the city's announcement.

Among the activities planned is a distribution of free City of St. Petersburg flags on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to one per person.
Local vendors will also be present, offering treats and refreshments including coffee from Cafe Tuk Tuk, popsicles from The Hyppo, and ice cream from MAYDAY.
Additionally, attendees can look forward to exclusive St. Pete-themed giveaways designed to help them celebrate in style.
"727 Day is all about celebrating all the amazing things Pinellas County has to offer," states the city’s announcement. "It’s a day to come together, have fun, and show the community why St. Pete is the jewel of the 727 area code."
Residents are encouraged to participate in what promises to be an engaging and festive event at City Hall on July 26.
