City Of Treasure Island issued the following announcement on Sep. 18.
On Sept. 30, the city of Treasure Island will host a Flood Insurance Seminar to provide an overview of flood insurance information, upcoming changes to FEMA’s Risk Rating 2.0 (FEMA’s new rating methodology), and FEMA’s Flood Insurance Rate Maps.
The seminar will cover how these changes will affect flood insurance premiums and property valuations for property owners, renters, and business owners throughout Treasure Island.
