There's been a drastic increase in pediatric drownings in the state of Florida, mainly because we are surrounded by so much water. Many children in the range of 1 to 4 years old have lost their lives as a result of drowning.
Join Treasure Island Fire Rescue, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue, St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation, Safe Kids Worldwide and more on March 12 at a Life Jacket Giveaway event where free child life jackets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve bases.
