City Of St. Pete Beach issued the following announcement on Apr. 25.
The 2022 sea turtle nesting season is almost here!
Please remember to fill in any large holes in the sand, remove any obstructions, and leave only your footprints behind on the beach.
Where applicable, use turtle friendly lighting so as to not disorient hatchlings.
