City Of South Pasadena issued the following announcement on May 30.
Today we honored our veterans and fallen soldiers at our Memorial Day Ceremony at the War Memorial Building in South Pasadena.
Mayor Cacciotti honored all veterans in the room for their service, and we had the honor of hearing them introduce themselves.
Among those have served was our very own staff, Luis Bardales who works in our Public Works department.
Our Library staff also presented history on the War Memorial building built in 1921.
Attendees were able to enjoy a performance by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and Boy Scouts of America.
Lastly, we were honored to learn of all military dogs who have stood by our American soldiers throughout time. Rescue 22 Foundation
