St. Petersburg, FL - Social service agencies that provide homeless services and/or homeless prevention services are invited to apply to take advantage of up to $100,000 in Social Action Funding grants from the City of St. Petersburg. There will be $700,000 available for allocation this year, and contracts will cover the period from Oct. 1, 2023, through Sept. 30, 2024.
The application window is from May 5 to June 21 and can be found at stpete.org/socialactionfunding.
Priority will be given to agencies that provide services for:
- Families with children (ages 0- 5 years)
- Elderly over 62 years
- Unaccompanied youth
- Youth aging out of foster care
- Chronically homeless living on the street as defined by HUD
- Families with children (ages 6 -17 years)
- Veterans
- Victims of domestic violence
A Bidders/Technical Assistance Workshop will be held via Zoom. Interested applicants can find a PDF copy of the application and guidelines at stpete.org/socialactionfunding and are encouraged to have them available during the workshop.

This program aligns with Mayor Ken Welch's Pillar For Progress: Housing Opportunities for All.
