St. Petersburg, FL (December 27, 2023) - With the New Year just around the corner, downtown St. Pete is gearing up for a spectacular celebration. From fireworks to events, here's your guide to making the most of New Year's Eve in downtown St. Pete.

The highlight of the evening will be the City of St. Petersburg's annual New Year’s Eve fireworks show, set to begin at 12 a.m. on January 1, weather permitting. The 20-minute display will take place along St. Pete's downtown waterfront parks, with the fireworks being launched from Vinoy Park. This dazzling spectacle is not to be missed.

For those looking for more festivities, NYE on the Pier at the St. Pete Pier offers a fantastic celebration starting at 8 p.m. This free event is open to the public and promises DJs, food trucks, and bars. In addition, the City is excited to announce the return of First Night St. Petersburg, an annual New Year's Eve celebration of arts. The South Core Parking Garage at 101 1st Avenue South is recommended for those attending the festivities, as it has the most capacity.
