City of St. Petersburg Announces Holiday Closures and Trash/Recycling Collection Adjustments

The City of St. Petersburg has announced the closure of certain facilities and adjustments to trash and recycling collection in observance of New Year's Day on Monday, January 1, 2024.

In accordance with the holiday closure, a spokesperson from the City of St. Petersburg stated, "Certain City facilities and services will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024, in observance of New Year's Day."

Residents are advised that there will be changes to the regular trash and recycling collection schedule. Trash and recycling collections that are typically scheduled for Monday will be made on Tuesday, while collections scheduled for Tuesday will be made on Wednesday. However, Thursday and Friday collections will remain the same.
